Trainer - Refrigeration

Position: Refrigeration Training Specialist

A well-established educational institution specializing in trade courses is looking for a skilled refrigeration or HVAC electrician to join their team as a full-time Trainer and Assessor. This role is ideal for a refrigeration or HVAC professional looking to pivot into training, bringing hands-on industry expertise to the next generation of HVAC specialists.
  
The ideal Candidate:

• Experience in training is a plus but not essential
• Qualifications in Refrigeration with a Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, or Electrical Trade with a Certificate II in Split Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems
• Holder of an Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC) License
• Willing to complete or currently holding the TAE40122/16 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
• Open to occasional domestic travel, with a flexible roster that ensures weekly home return

• Deliver hands-on training to students as part of the training and assessment team
• Conduct Recognized Prior Learning (RPL) interviews and preliminary assessments
• Collaborate with curriculum development teams to refine both practical and theoretical training materials
• Develop instructional aids and manage equipment and tools across training locations
• Coordinate with administrative and operational teams to ensure smooth delivery
